Project work
Website projects are billed in stages against milestones. Amounts covering work already completed and delivered are not refundable, because the effort has been expended. Where a project is cancelled before a stage begins, any advance held for that stage is refundable, less costs already incurred on your behalf.
Domains
Domain registrations and renewals are not refundable once submitted to the registrar. Registrars do not reverse registrations, so we cannot either. Please confirm spelling and extension carefully before we register.
Hosting
[PLACEHOLDER — state your hosting refund window, for example a pro-rata refund of unused months on annual plans, or no refund after activation. Choose the position you can actually honour and state it plainly.] Setup and migration fees, once performed, are not refundable.
Maintenance and AMC
Monthly plans can be cancelled with notice and stop at the end of the paid month. Annual contracts paid upfront are [PLACEHOLDER — state whether unused months are refundable, and on what terms]. Work already carried out within a period is not refundable.
Third-party licences
Premium plugins, themes, fonts, SSL certificates and platform subscriptions purchased on your behalf follow the vendor’s own refund policy. Where the vendor does not refund, we cannot.
How to request a refund
Write to hello@example.com with your project or invoice reference and the reason for the request. We will respond within [PLACEHOLDER — number] working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within [PLACEHOLDER — number] working days.
Disputes
If you are unhappy with delivered work, contact us before requesting a refund. Most concerns are scope or expectation issues that we can resolve directly and quickly.
